Benefits:
Students will learn about Brazilian, African & Indigenous history and be exposed to new cultural ideas by learning the foundational names, movements, and structure of capoeira. In a fun and inclusive environment, students will develop flexibility, coordination, and self-defense through a full-body fitness class. Introduction to music through songs and playing instruments will be linked to the different styles of capoeira. Students will gain strength through conditioning, pairing up to practice sequences, and develop creativity by “playing” capoeira with each other in the traditional “roda” in a supportive environment.
Note: Credit Card and Debit Visa processing fees are already included in the final price ($270 + $10 processing fee). Alternatively, $270 if payment made in person or via e-transfer/PayPal.
